Shuriken Model with Voroni Texture

Tell me what you guys think!! All feedback is appreciated. Also anyone know how to get the edges illuminated as well. I can't seem to get them illuminated.

The texture seems weird for a shuriken. Other than that, it's good.

Normally you think it be a solid color or a brushed metal, but i kinda didn't like it like that so i added a futuristic look.


Here's the shuriken with a nice kinda camouflage look to it:
Added a bump map to it.

The first one is better,but still.....it looks weird,id prefer a regular shuriken.

Sorry i couldnt give you a more positive feedback once more,but its a honest one at least.
I think you would totally be capable of creating good stuff,and im sure there are people who like this.
Im just not one of them.
You design things that could look nice,if seperated.
But then you mix it together,like the camouflage and the shuriken,or the katana/saber-like blade with a medieval looking handle.
I really got to give you credit for trying out something new and creative though,thats great!
Maybe you prove me wrong with the next picture,keep going

thanks so much for the feedback. No worries, its constructive criticism. I like making things that don't fit the norm, and look cool regardless if it doesnt fit the bill.

I didnt say he has to be the same,i even praised him for beeing creative and trying out new things.
I just dont think that something is automatically good,just because its new.
Some things just dont go along well with drastical changes,and i consider this shuriken to be one of those.
As always,art shines in a different light for each individual.

Not going to lie I like the camo one much better and can immediately imagine some kind of futuristic setting where people throw camo laser guided  shuriken and stuff. Makes no sense but I like it and imagine it so hahaha i like it. Keep doing things in this style if it's what you like!
