SLO art Challenges??

Ok so this for all the arty lads and lasses here....even if you are not the arty type still welcome lol.
Soooo i wanted to know if anyone here is interested in weekly or biweekly or whenever(that can be decided later on), art challenges.

What do i mean by art challenges you ask?
 Every other week or whatever we can decide on a topic, situation, scene all kinda things draw/paint or whatever you are into to test ourselves in art. I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in partaking before i make an offical thread for it ?

If you could make the title quite vague that would allow newer artists to try something not too complexed.

Thanks to everyone that is participating in our first challenge, theres been some very good submissions.
The due date for the current challenge is almost due, so if ant of yous have some suggestions for future challenges now would be a great time to post it. cheers

Well.. umm.. how about we make it weekly.
so each week a different challenge.
The first three weeks will be the simple challenges, the best artist each week will be selected.
So we'd have three best arts (and artists) of the month.
Next, in the final week, The three compete against each other.
The best art will be decided by poll.
and that guy will get to be the month's champion artist.
Once this is done,
from the next month, the challenge weeks will be the first two.
The third week will be the fight between winner of week 1 vs winner of week 2
In the final week, the Champion of the previous month will defend his title against the new challenger.

thats the format in my mind.

Challenge suggestions:
Perspective drawing (Scenery)
Logo designing
Animal drawing (can be a simple rabbit to a tiger in armor to a giant kraken)
Short comic
Clothes designing/fashion stuff
Poses with weapons
picture modification (given picture has to be modified)
Character drawing (any SLO/anime character with an existing image will be given to draw, the artists should keep that image in  mind and make a new picture with a different pose for that character)
Descriptive art (A certain scene/ person/ situation will be described, artist has to draw/design/make it)
just my opinion..
