Specializing in both will be pretty hard, but you'd be fairly good in both natures after some months of playing. Truly mastering both would take a couple of years.

By leaving alone your other nature, iryo ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu you could master one nature at an advanced level in just a few months.
