About your signature, It looks good but i dont like white backgrounds.
The black star kind of looking thing is also something im not a fan of.
But thats just my opinion.

It isn't a star >.< it's called an abstract render . OMG, sorry, I didn't notice the sig before but OMG... wow.... Dude... wow... I can't even... that is a really awesome sig O.O sorry, can't think of anything to say, can't handle the awesomeness xD brain stopped thinking!

I avoid using them most of the times, because I find it hard to put them in a sig without them ruining it xD

did some work on it, now I'm stuck, is that good? Kinda looks bland to me :/

I quite like the bottom one, don't be afraid about it being "empty".
Not everything has to be filled all the time.
Perhaps add some more lighting detail.
Make all of it darker at the bottom, and a tad lighter at the top

you used red and blue for the outline there....maybe you shoulve picked a combination that suited the picture a bit more........darkening it if necessary
as nova said....you should add more light to make the render look more beautiful
you gotta try smoothing the edges too
also do you render them yourself or google it???

Also, smoothen edges? of what? If you meant the wind filter, then that was intentional xD. I google for them, and if I don't find any, well, then I render them myself, only did it once though... .

i think i said that i liked the something new there (wind filter)
i have watched the anime "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" and my favorite character is 'Mustang'....one of my favorite anime
as you can see, the render has some rough edges......when i talked about smoothing....i meant to smooth the render
normally the renders you take from google r pretty smooth.....so i asked if you really took it from google xD
