And whats the end outcome? A human has regrets no matter what decisions s/he chose to take, so none of the answers are really correct, if you spent 500+ hours on one character, I bet your gonna drop it a week, or maybe if you have nothing else in life, perhaps a month later. You'd have a regret not saving a person, but if you did save said person, you'd have a regret not ditching him/her, cause your character would've stayed.... In the end, it doesn't matter what you choose, because, in the end, nothing will ever be the way you want.
