Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL side, Ikorodu City FC, has announced the signing of prolific striker Tony Obia from SKE Football Club, Port Harcourt. In an Instagram post, Ikorodu City expressed their excitement, introducing Obia as a key addition to the team for their upcoming season.

Obia had an outstanding season with Inter Lagos last year, where he emerged as the club's top scorer and assist leader. His impressive statistics include 15 goals and 12 assists in 27 appearances, contributing significantly to the team's success. Now, he joins Ikorodu City FC on a one-year contract, where he is expected to lead the attack under head coach Bright Ozebagbe.

The club has high expectations for Obia, hoping that his scoring prowess will help guide them in their debut NPFL season.
