I am kind of wondering how you came up with the symbol idea -- just a ball of energy, or was there some other inspiration?

Looks too realistic if it was a clan icon. That wouldn't look good on the back of a cloak

I literally googled Naruto symbols and used one of those as a base template for the digital 3d-ish creation that I made there with different effects, textures, and rendering.
