i have been getting this message when creating character pls help

I'm having the same issue, I'm new and in NYC. Haven't been able to log in yet
(this is my 1st day attempting to log in) So I haven't even been able to create a character yet =/

This website and the game client are linked, therefore you use the same log-in details to log into the game.

I'm able to log in, but when I enter a new char name I get the same message/error.

For some reason your computer is blocking our authentication, I just manually set your character name (you can change it in your Forum Profile).
