Description of the character's personality: Kotetsu is a gentle, friendly shinobi. He'll always put his comrades' needs ahead of his own, but doesn't have a lot of patience and can become enraged and violent very easily.
(Please excuse my bad writing)
Description of the character's history: Born and raised in Hokorigakure, Kotetsu had a pretty normal life for a shinobi. He had parents who loved him very much and was the top of his class at the academy. Also had an advantage over the other students because of his strange ability to control sand. He graduated the academy at the age of 9 and got along with his team. As a genin, his team would always be assigned to D-rank and C-rank missions which were completed with ease each time. While on an escort mission to an allied village, his team was attacked by one masked shinobi. All were knocked unconscious except for Kotetsu. The masked man marked Kotetsu with a curse mark and whispered "See you soon", and Kotetsu was knocked unconscious. The team was brought back to the village and hadn't suffered any major injuries. Kotetsu later participated in the Chuunin exams. He had made it up to the finals and could barely beat his opponent. Something triggered the rage inside of him, and the curse mark swallowed him. Kotetsu had lost himself completely and killed his opponent. After the fight, his curse mark suppressed, but Kotetsu was considered dangerous and exiled from the village. He lived alone for a few years and his loneliness led to depression. He was visited by the Katakuichi and they offered him a place in their ranks where he'd have comrades who understood him and respected him. Currently Kotetsu is a member of the Katakiuchi, and the curse mark is turning him into a different person.

Not trying to give Katakuichi a bad name, I just wanted a reason for someone as gentle as Kotetsu to end up in an organization such as Katakuichi.

You have done no such thing. I see where you are coming from however I do not believe we would force you to join us.

That's a valid point. You could talk about how the curse mark turned him over to the "dark side" so he began to sympathize with Katakiuchi (Just a suggestion). This is just my opinion, I really do like your character.

PS: Sunagakure won't exist in SLO (http://www.shinobilifeonline.com/index.php/topic,732.0.html). As for the CS, I have my doubts anything like it will be implemented. Closest you could get to that would be Sage Mode I guess...

Thanks for that. And I know there will be different villages. I'll be changing his story as more information is released.

Would welcome a port of Mandalore from Skyriver the same way I welcomed the port of the Tremere clan from the World of Darkness to Morigakure.
